Created when Baxter divested its kidney care business in 2025, Vantive now operates under The Carlyle Group with a continued focus on specialized healthcare solutions and vital organ therapy.

Formerly part of Baxter, the BioPharma Solutions division focused on injectable drug delivery systems and pharmaceutical services. It was divested and now operates under new ownership as Simtra BioPharma Solutions.

Baxalta included Baxter’s legacy in specialty biologics and hematology therapies. It was divested and today it operates under Takeda’s Rare Diseases and Plasma-Derived Therapies business.
