Overview
Meet the Volara System (Acute Care)
Oscillation and Lung Expansion (OLE) therapy has shown to deliver positive clinical outcomes for hospitalized respiratory patients. The Volara System provides Continuous Positive Expiratory Pressure (CPEP) to expand lungs and airways, Continuous High-Frequency Oscillation (CHFO) pulses to dislodge mucus and make it easier to cough out and nebulized medication to relax your airways and loosen secretions.
3-in-1 Therapy1
Deliver timely, clinically studied OLE therapy in just ten minutes with the Volara System from Baxter.
The system uses alternating cycles of CPEP and CHFO, combined with aerosol delivery, to help your patients get more value from their OLE therapy.
OLE therapy has been shown to deliver positive clinical outcomes and potential economic savings in the acute care setting.1

How It Works

CPEP
Continuous positive expiratory pressure treats and helps prevent pulmonary atelectasis by combining continuous positive pressure with aerosol medication to help expand and hold the airways open.

CHFO
Continuous high frequency oscillation, a pneumatic form of chest therapy, delivers continuous pulses of positive pressure combined with aerosol medication to mobilize and treat retained secretions.

Nebulizer
Integrated with CPEP and CHFO, medication is delivered during therapy to help loosen secretions.
Customizable Therapy Settings
The Volara System gives you the versatility to deliver airway clearance to patients in multiple hospital settings, with features including a wide therapeutic pressure range to treat a wide range of patients, programmable therapy presets for standardization across patient groups and enhanced device mobility for use throughout the hospital.

Intuitive Interface for Simplified Operation
